Your home in Bali is
situated in the traditional village of Petulu, north of Ubud, the celebrated
art centre. Petulu is famous for the thousands of white herons that roost in
its trees every night. These graceful birds have been a source of inspiration
to many artists.
Our location gives you
the opportunity to observe and be part of traditional Balinese culture without
the formalities and intrusiveness of tourism. The friendly villagers welcome
guests with genuine pleasure. Watch the daily activities of the farmers as you
stroll or cycle among the rice fields. Later, enjoy an exotic cocktail at the
poolside bar or savour Austrian coffee and cake on the terrace as you watch
the sunset over the rice terraces.
You can take advantage
of the free shuttle service to Ubud, a popular tourist destination with
hundreds of intriguing shops and boutiques. Walk around the market, explore
the Monkey forest and temple or visit one of the many fine art museums and
galleries. Ubud boasts a number of excellent restaurants and, after dinner,
there are different classical Balinese dances every night. Bali is one of the
most culturally rich and naturally beautiful places in the world. Its
magnificent temples, exotic ceremonies, serene ricefields, rural vistas and
spectacular volcanoes are all within easy reach of Ubud.

The cancellation policy
is one night room charge if the cancellation is made with less than 7 days
notice, i.e. within less than 7 nights of arrival or in event of a no show.
